Not all breastfeeding challenges can be solved in one visit. We often assess, reassess and tweak your feeding plan to best suit your baby’s needs. This allows you to pre-book an additional appointment with me to guarantee the extra support you may need. Want to avoid a possible wait for a follow-up? This is the option for you!
This package is offered at a discounted rate for initially booking two visits! We will automatically book a follow up appointment at the end of your first home visit.

Pumping IS Breastfeeding!
Breast pumps can be tricky and I can help. We will review your previously completed health, birth & postpartum history. This home visit will include weighing your baby and observing a bottle feeding. We will review your breast pump, discuss optimal settings, do a flange fitting & I will observe a pump session.
Together we will develop a feeding plan specific to the needs of your baby that will work to meet your feeding goals. My goal is to get you started on a feeding plan that feels accessible to you.
A report of this visit will be sent to your health care provider(s).
A credit card is required for booking appointment. You will not be charged until day of service. Your appointment will be confirmed upon completing your intake form. This visit will include support from me for 2 weeks via secure text messaging or e-mail for follow-up questions pertaining to the reason for your initial visit.

This is a virtual consult. I will include discussing a plan for your return to work. This visit will be good for parents returning to work outside of the home. We will review the timing of introducing bottles (if exclusively breastfeeding), set up, use and cleaning of your breast pump. Flange fitting. We will discuss ways to protect & maintain your milk supply as you return to work. I will provide you with handouts for proper breast milk handling and storage education. This visit does not include an assessment of or assistance with feeding your baby.
This visit will include a review of your previously completed health history. We will discuss the basics of breastfeeding. I will answer your questions about breastfeeding. A breast assessment can be completed upon your request. This visit is helpful for new parents or parents with previous difficulties breastfeeding.

Extended Appointment Time: Any consultation over the booked appointment time will be charged $50 per additional 30 minute increments.
Multiples: $50 per baby plus service fee listed above for virtual or in-home consultation requiring a feeding assessment
Travel (in Michigan): I do travel in MI. There will be travel fees if you live outside of my service area. If you live further than 40 minutes from my location in Southern Oakland County, there will be a $50 charge for every additional 30 minutes of travel. This fee does apply to each home visit, including the follow-up home visits. Thank you for your understanding. Please contact me for further information.
Cancellation Fee $50: If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours prior to the appointment time, your card used for booking will be charged $50 due to the late cancellation.
Refunds: Should I need to cancel your appointment, for a situation out of my control, your card will not be charged. You will receive priority in re-scheduling your appointment. There will be no refunds for dissatisfaction of service as no outcomes are guaranteed.
I am currently not in network with any insurance companies.
However, after our appointment, I will provide you with a SUPERBILL containing all of the information you need to submit to you insurance company for reimbursement! You are eligible for this coverage per the Affordable Care Act. The National Women’s Law Center has a toolkit available to help you understand your rights to obtaining insurance reimbursement for Lactation services. Most insurance companies in Michigan reimburse for Lactation Consultations. It is your responsibility to check your insurance coverage for reimbursement.
Payment: I accept all credit cards. A credit card, debit card, FSA or HSA card is required at time of booking to reserve your appointment.
Your card will be charged the entire service fee above at the time of our visit together.
